TRAINING SOUNDSound is more than something we hear. It is something we experience.
Sound has long been used across cultures and traditions as a tool for meditation, ritual, connection, and wellbeing. This training invites you to explore sound healing through both practice and understanding—learning how to work with sound intentionally, safely, and authentically. Whether you're adding sound to an existing wellness practice or beginning a new path, you'll leave with a foundation you can continue to build upon.
2nd Life Sound Healing Certification
This foundational certification introduces you to the history, principles, science, and practical application of sound healing.
You'll learn how to move beyond simply playing instruments and begin creating intentional sound experiences that support relaxation, mindfulness, and nervous-system regulation.
You'll explore:

Understanding sound healing, its historical roots, cultural context, and evolution into modern wellness practices.

Explore sound, vibration, frequency, the nervous system, brainwave states, and how we experience sound physically and psychologically.

Learn about singing bowls, gongs, chimes, drums, tuning forks, and other instruments and how their unique qualities can be incorporated into a practice.

Learn how to create intentional, grounded sound experiences for individuals and groups.

Develop the awareness, boundaries, communication skills, and professional practices necessary to facilitate responsibly.

IN-PERSON IMMERSION
Practice working with instruments, facilitation, sequencing, and sound baths
CERTIFICATION
Demonstrate your foundational skills and complete your Level 1 training.

The cost for training is $497. An early bird discount is available for those paying in full by the early bird deadline. For those not paying in full, a $97 non-refundable deposit is required. The non-refundable deposit is included in the full payment.
Cancellation & Refund Policy: All training registrations are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend your scheduled training cohort, your registration may be transferred to the next available cohort. Transfer requests must be made prior to the start of the training. If 2nd Life Wellness must cancel or postpone a training cohort, registered participants will have the option to transfer their registration to the next available cohort or receive a full refund to their original form of payment.
